VOLUNTEERS
Burchfield Primary School encourages parents to volunteer at school. This is an excellent way to reinforce your child’s school experience. Children whose parents are involved with the school often feel better about themselves and their school. There are a number of ways parents can volunteer. Some of these include:
- If you have a special skill or talent, sharing it.
- Teachers always welcome someone to come in and read with students or help with special projects.
- Our school has a wonderful Art Docent program for grades 2 and 3. You do not need to have art experience or knowledge to be an Art Docent.
- If you do not have time to volunteer during school hours there are often things you can do at home.
Please contact your child’s teacher or the office if you have questions or would like to volunteer. Your efforts are very much appreciated!
